PlanningPME is a human resources management tool that helps you through managing your employee's days off (among many other functions). Day management is really easy. You can first define the kind of days off of your employees. To do so, go in Data --> Unavailabilities and add/modify the different datas.

 

Then you just have to assign one of these days off to a resource when necessary.

Link a customer to a task

Client management with PlanningPMEis very easy. You can link a customer to a task and then know to which client a task is being done. To do this, simply go in Tool --> Options --> Task and tick the option "Link customer to a task".

 

Then you should see your clients name in the task on the planning board.

Clients' history

In order to make client management in PlanningPME easier, there is the possibility to verify all that has been done, the time spent for each client. that gives you a good overview of the activities realised. To see it, you can go in the client window where you will find a second tab named Histoy. It will give you all the details you want about your client activities history. Let's have a look at it. Select a client by double clicking on it. This window appears: 

Then, select the second tab named History and here it is:

You can even have details on the tasks done by selecting one of it and clicking on the "History" button.

First of all, you need to activate an option. To do so, go to the menu "Tools -> Options" and select the tab named "Task"

To add a client, go to the menu "Data -> Clients"

You created a new client as Company A. following the same process, you can add further clients by clicking on "Add".

Create additional fields in PlanningPME Web Access

Create additional fields in PlanningPME Web Access

It is really easy to create additional fields. To do this, please open your PlanningPME Web Access and follow this procedure:

On the right side of your screen, click on Data --> Additional Fields. This window will appear (click on it to enlarge)

Here you will choose in which tab your additional field: task, client, resource, material resource. Once you choose, the following window automatically comes (click on it to enlarge).

In this window you will choose the name of the new tab and create the different fields that compose it. Once done, let's see the result in the selected tab. Here it is !

Task Management with PlanningPME Web Access

The principle of task management is slightly different in Web Access. Let's see some Web Access tips. You can still create your tasks by double clicking or clicking on the button on the top right side of the screen but not anymore by right clicking. (click on it to enlarge)

To open an already created task, you have to click on the green arrow in the right sight of the task box.A new window opens as described here under.

 

By clicking again on the green arrow, you will develop the full task window and then ou will be able to customize it as you wish.
