Filters in PlanningPME
Even when you run a small or medium company, the amount of informations to deal with is often huge. More than allowing you just to manage a lot of resources and clients, PlanningPME enables you to navigate among it and find the right informations right when you need it, this thanks to the filters you can customize as you wish. Activate a filter while creating an additional field of the type "Choice"!
While creating additional fields of the type “choice”, you can activate up to 4 additional filters like shown below:
Only resources, clients and/or projects with the field selected will be displayed on the screen on the corresponding view.
Then, on the planning board, you can filter by this field:
This new function allows you to filter the planning via customized additional fields of the type “Choice”.
You have the possibility to create departments, e.g. marketing department, account department, sales department…From your general schedule, you can filter the schedule of only one department for a better visualization.
To create departments, go to the menu Data -> Department.
The following window appears :
Then click on "add" to enter the names of your departments and select directly from this window the resources belonging to this department
Then to filter your schedule, select the department you want to appear on the screen :
Only the resources belonging to the sales department appear on the screen!
Now you will have a better understanding of your department planning !
